The clock has stopped for a while...

Tranquility, walking, reading, the wild life and just to know that the clock has stopped for a while makes this place special to us. This for us is perfect. Staff available if needed but never intrude on your holiday. Exceptional staff at visitors centre and tea room. ground staff very pleasant and helpful. We do think that a coffee table/tables would be helpful in this property, a tumble drier in this property would be a bonus. The cleanliness of this property is very good.

    Beautiful views of the lough

Waking every morning to the beautiful views of the lough and also walking through the gardens - the place is so beautiful. We had an amazing break, very relaxing, cottage was fab. We will def be back. Only thing that my son had mentioned was he would like a slide in the park area. Staff around the estate were lovely and helpful

    Day trips up the river

We were able to bring our boat up to it and use it for day trips further up the river where we have never visited. It was our 35th wedding anniversary and we could bring all the family together for it. It was great thank you. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful

    Great fun... watching the bats

As a single mum of 2 small boys I like safe but wild places we can 'explore'. So we had great fun out in the dark watching the bats. Plus my son rode his bike without stabilisers for the first time. We very much enjoyed our stay (despite the weather). It was good to be able to bring the grandparents along. Cottage could do with another double room which would make it more attractive option for family groups.
