Chilling Out Weekend

Message:

What a wonderful place. More than enough space for 11. Lovely and warm. Zoned Central Heating for Upstairs and Downstairs. Modern Central Heating. Open fireplace in Living Room. With guests coming for some of our meals, we fitted 13 round the kitchen table and 18 around the dining table! This is absolutely the perfect house for a chilling out weekend. There is a TV but we didn't switch it on. The hall and study were perfect for Scalextric of epic proportions. The kitchen is well appointed with dishwasher, double width cooker (halogen and electric), American style fridge freezer. Remember to take dishwashing tabs with you! In the utility room are a washing machine and tumble dryer which I was pleased to see did not need coins to power. You do need to bring washing powder with you, however!. All things considered, this is the best "cottage" I have ever stayed in and I am now desparately trying to come up with an excuse to go back!

The house can be found near Brambleberry Lane, next to a church at one end, then at the other a village hall which is a green corrugated building
Reasonable places to visit include the Parrot Zoo and Seal Sanactary at Mablethorpe
For eating out the nearest reasonable pub seemed to be the Fleece Inn in Burgh Le Marsh which is about 1 hr away if walking from the Old Rectory food is served from 18.00 hrs to 20.45hrs. Their was also a Chinese take away in Burgh Le Marsh which was okay

Mum & Dads Diamond Wedding Anniversay was made extra special by the lovely rural setting and clear night sky, which presented a naturally diamond studded canopy. The Rectory is wonderfully spacious and beautifully presented, with every need throughtfully provided for. We throughty enjoyed all aspects and extend our many thanks to everyone involved in taking care of this excellent property 10/10. The only problem is leaving.......
