 Felbrigg Hall

Norfolk
Apart from the popular attractions such as the waterways of the Broads and gathering in the larger resorts, Norfolk offers a peaceful and picturesque county of grand estates, unspoilt coastline, attractive scenery and prolific wildlife. The National Trust cares for some of the most magnificent properties in the region, together with several miles of coast including the renowned Blakeney Point nature reserve. The National Trust owned estates of Blickling, Felbrigg, Sheringham and Horsey - and the converted mill at Burnham Overy - are all excellent bases from which to explore Norfolk.

Sheringham Park
Sheringham Park includes 770 acres of parkland and is one of Humphry Repton’s most outstanding achievements. The park contains fine mature woodlands and the large garden is particularly famous for its spectacular show of rhododendrons and azaleas, flowering from mid May to June. There are stunning views of the coast and countryside from the viewing towers and there is access to many delightful way-marked walks. The Felbrigg and Blickling estates are nearby, as is the magnificent North Norfolk coast.

National Trust places nearby: {unbold}Felbrigg Hall, Blickling Hall, West Runton, Beeston Regis Heath. Shop and pub: Sheringham, Cromer. Tea-room/café/restaurant: Felbrigg, Blickling Hall, Sheringham, Cromer. Beach: within walking distance. Railway station: Sheringham 2 miles. Other attractions: Norwich city, Norfolk Broads, Holt, Sheringham town and cliff top golf course, Cromer. Activities: walking, birdwatching, golf, cycling.
