Norfolk
Apart from the popular attractions such as the waterways of the Broads and gathering in the larger resorts, Norfolk offers a peaceful and picturesque county of grand estates, unspoilt coastline, attractive scenery and prolific wildlife. The National Trust cares for some of the most magnificent properties in the region, together with several miles of coast including the renowned Blakeney Point nature reserve. The National Trust owned estates of Blickling, Felbrigg, Sheringham and Horsey - and the converted mill at Burnham Overy - are all excellent bases from which to explore Norfolk.

Itteringham
This charming, hidden hamlet lies on the edge of the Blickling estate, but with easy access of the lively market town of Aylsham. There is excellent fishing at the nearby Blickling Lake. The renovation of the cottages won an award given by the Norfolk Branch of the Council for the Protection of Rural England in recognition of the contribution to conservation and improvement of the countryside.
