First time in a NT place and am I glad I booked it , my wife and I took our dogs and left the kids behind for first time for a quiet break , it may look ordinary outside but walking in was a very pleasant surprise , so roomy , homely , and flowers tea/coffee and cookies were a nice touch . Everything you need is in there all you need to do is get some food and then enjoy the area , nice walks close by and numerous villages and beeches close by car , just wished we'd booked longer but we'll be back ;)

My wife and I have just had our first NT cottage holiday break, and chose Mrs Preedy's. The cottage lived up to our expectations; warm, inviting and a lovely base to relax and unwind. We now understand why the previous entries were from frequent visitors to Mrs. Preddy's; we are now booking a two week break early next year.

We have just returned from yet another stay at Mrs Preedy's cottage. We have now been six times and I am on site trying to thinki of a date to book again. I would recommend the area for a complete stress free weekend or a two week holiday. As beautiful in the winter as in the summer . . . fantastic part of the country enough to turn you slowly into a twitcher.
