A traditional 19th-century Cotswold stone cottage, originally the home of the late John Workman OBE who owned the Ebworth Estate and was the National Trust's Forestry Adviser in the 1970s. The cottage is surrounded by deciduous woodland which is a National Nature Reserve and is also an example of some of the finest beech trees grown for timber in the country. The sunny garden has lovely views across the valley to National Trust woodland and farmland. The cottage is just half a mile from the centre of Sheepscombe village which has a small but popular public house.

Ground Floor: hall, lavatory, kitchen, sitting/dining room with wood-burning stove, external access to utility room and sunroom. First Floor: two bedrooms (1 twin, 1 double with 6' bed which can also be a twin on request) bathroom with mixer tap attachment.

Visitor Notes:
Night storage heating included. The large private garden is mainly lawn with a patio area. Parking available for two cars.
