This delightful cottage lies in a fairy-tale setting in woodlands near Bircher Common and close to Croft Castle and the ancient hill-fort of Croft Ambrey. There are unlimited walks, with wildlife and spectacular views. Due to its remoteness, the cottage has its own generator for electrical appliances, a calor-gas cooker and oil-fired central heating.

Ground Floor: kitchen/dining room with multi-fuel stove, utility room. First Floor: three bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin and 1 single) and bathroom.

Visitor Notes:
oil central heating included. There is some noise from the generator when in use. The cottage is remote, and can be difficult to reach by car in severe weather. Access is via a very long rough track through woodland and arrival in daylight is recommended. There is a steep garden surrounding the cottage.
