This is such a grand, beautiful house but incredibly homely. The garden is a delight with spectacular views. Three generations of our family had the most amazing time. My sons and I prepared a 17th Century meal to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday which we ate in the "Great Hall". The many outbuildings, occupied by swallows at present, are fascinating and well worth a look.

We had a wonderful stay at Cwmmau Farmhouse. It's such a beautiful place in an idyllic location. It is secluded, and yet you are only three or four miles away from the local town of KIngton with shops etc. It is so quiet and peaceful at Cwmmau - the only sounds were the housemartins, swallows and the occasional "moo," from the nearby cattle. We were in a party of ten and yet we weren't all on top of each other- there is plenty of space to go and sit quietly away from other guests, both in the house and garden. I think that within five minutes of our arrival it was decided that we would hopefully return again, and we felt the same way at the end of our stay. In fact, perhaps I shouldn't have written such a glowing review as I'm hoping we'll be able to book it again very soon and I don't want it to be fully booked :) Thanks to the NT for making it possible for us to stay in such a wonderful place with all the family.
