 Malvern Hills

Hereford, Worcester and Shropshire
These counties bordering Wales to the west, the Cotswolds to the south and the former industrial heart of England to the east offer the visitor a combination of beautiful, rolling and totally unspoilt countryside and the fine historic cathedral cities of Gloucester, Worcester and Shrewsbury. The National Trust protects some of the best countryside, finest houses and most important gardens in the area. Berrington Hall in Herefordshire is an elegant neo-classical house of the late 18th-century and now has a holiday home in a part of its gatehouse. We also offer the chance to become part of living history by staying in the unique Back to Back houses in the heart of Birmingham in the West Midlands. Three of our cottages at Dudmaston, Shropshire, offer the ideal spot for a quiet break, excellent for walking, cycling and fishing.

 Croft Castle

Lower Brockhampton, Croft Castle and Berrington Hall
These three great estates all stand in glorious, rolling countryside that is remarkably untouched and will greatly appeal to the visitor wanting to see the quieter side of England. The Lower Brockhampton estates has at its centre a late 14th century moated manor house, which is surrounded by some of the most beautiful rolling park and woodland to be found in the country. Lower Brockhampton house and gardens are closed from October to March, but visitors are free to walk in the parklands and waymarked walks. At Croft Castle the defensive exterior contrasts with the comfortable and decorative state rooms inside and the surrounding parkland includes a superb avenue of 350 year old Spanish chestnut trees. Berrington Hall is well set in a wide valley with sweeping far-reaching views.
