| | | | Visitors' Book - The Triumphal ArchBerrington Hall Leominster Herefordshire | From: | Simon, Joanne, Natasha and Rebecca East | | Message: | First stay in a NT property, and we certainly chose a fantastic place. Fabulous location right at the heart of the park. We walked around late at night, feeling like 'Lord and Lady of the House'. On a clear night it is well worth walking around just to see the millions of stars, as no light pollution that us townies are used to, obscuring the view. Sitting out at the table in the garden at dusk if you are lucky you can see the bats flying around. Log burning stove in the main room was used every night by us, our daughters had great fun making toast for tea and then toasting marshmallows. All the local NT properties are worth a visit and are within an hour's drive. NT have done well to create a luxurious dwelling out of a Grade II listed building, being sympathetic to the location. |
From: | Nicola & Stephen Barrowman | | Message: | We really enjoyed staying at this lovely cottage. It was very unique, spacious and full of character. The wood burning stove made for cosy evenings and the kitchen was well kitted out with everything you need to self-cater. We were sorry to leave and judging from the comments in the visitors book in the cottage many other people felt the same. |
From: | Marilyn & John Tiffen | | Message: | Our second holiday in this lovely cottage and as enjoyable as our first. The gardens at Hampton Court are well worth a visit. The biggest attractions for us in coming to Herefordshire are the stunning scenery and the delightful villages, so different from home. |
