This is a lovely apartment,furnished beautifully yet comfortable and relaxing.It had an abundance of reference books ,games and local information.Walking the grounds in the evening is a primary benefit and we also had a visit to the walled garden which was very much based on organic principles.We found the 2 day stay so reviving ,having the space and peace to please yourself,very good value.

This was our first NT vacation and it was absolutely delightful. The sheep and pheasants roaming the grounds add to the character. Wonderful walks down to a small canal. We used Hanbury as a base for seeing Stratford-upon-Avon and even made day trips to Lyme Park and Chatsworth. Staying at Hanbury is like being lord and lady of the manor. Enjoyed a delightful lunch outside at Hanbury's cafe and picnicked more than once on the grounds. Highly recommend.

This flat for two is delightful, the views are wonderful and the grounds, which are yours to walk in when the house is shut, are splendid. The flat itself is all that could be desired for a really relaxing break. Shouldn't be telling you all this as those in the know should keep it to themselves in case it becomes too popular!
