Our stay was for Christmas 2006. What a splendid surprise to find the Christmas tree and decorations plus a bottle of wine. As a winter visit Hanbury Hall was not open but this almost made the grounds ours. (and the sheep) From the moment we arrived it felt like our own property. The splendid dining kitchen, beatifully furnished lounge with the fun of the open fire, a most comfortable bedroom and a loo with a view in the bathroom. Do visit Droitwich Spa the town as well as the salt spa itself. What an hedonistic experience. Try it and see!

This was our first NT cottage stay and definitely won't be the last. Every detail of the cottage was well thought out, and the landscape/views are amazing. Highly recommend The Lodge to everyone.
