The National Trust offers a large range of self catering holiday cottages in the North of England.

From the dramatic and mountainous landscape of the Lake District in the west, across to the hugely varied countryside of Yorkshire and Northumberland, and down to the Peak District, this is a rugged area of great beauty. It holds enormous appeal for walkers but it also has some of England's finest historic houses and best loved landscapes.
