A Lovely apartment in an unusual setting which really made a 2 day break
very enjoyable.Lots of space and especially private and peaceful,have passed on our recommendations to friends!
The grounds are lovely and there is a nice short walk by the river around Acorn Bank
First visit to a nt cottage,felt they provided just that little bit more,everything
in the cottage pristine and fresh ,loved the old furniture which suited the setting

Our first visit to an NT cottage. It was warm welcoming clean and very well equipped. we will definitely try other NT properties

Agree with the previous comment, very well appointed & clean & tidy. There was even a torch left for us, which was extermely handy on the walk to and from the kings arms in Temple Sowerby. When you are in Penrith, check out Rghed, a local exhibition centre; the alpace centre and the golf centre.
