We have four holiday apartments in Acorn House - Crowdundle, Bank Wood, Sandwath and Birksike - popular with those wanting to stay on a traditional estate in a glorious part of Britain. The approach to the apartments is through sweeping parkland which visitors can enjoy in peace and tranquillity when the house is closed to visitors. The apartments have no private gardens but visitors can enjoy the woodland walk along Crowdundle Beck, full of wild flowers and beautiful frees, to the partially restored Acorn Bank watermill.
Sandwath is situated on the top floor of Acorn House and takes its name Sandwath from one of the fields surrounding the property. The view over the Eden Valley towards the Lake District fells is superb. The apartment is accessed through the house via the main staircase.
Second Floor: sitting room, kitchen/dining room, bedroom (double with 5' bed) and bathroom with shower over bath.

Television, cot, high chair.
Visitor Notes: Oil central heating included. A television and DVD player are provided but please note there is no television reception.
