| Message: | Our first NT cottage break and definitely won't be our last. Lovely cottage and very peaceful. Loved the log burning stove, when we eventually managed to get it going! As the cottage backed onto Hadrian's Wall, we had some great walks from there. And despite the wind, we even managed to sit outside and enjoy the garden furniture, albeit wrapped up in coats, scarves, gloves and hats (it was March though). We would recommend Peel Bothy for a nice peaceful getaway. You could see the local pub from the cottage and it was only a few minutes walk down the road, so if you wanted company, a drink or to eat our, you could do so easily. |
