A short break here for my birthday in September 2009. We already knew Lyme Park but staying here for a few days made a world of difference. Lovely place to stay with all mod cons, including a great open fire. We walked back in to the park at night with a torch, only to see dozens of golden eyes watching us - the 150 deer!

We had a fabulous and very enjoyable weekend at the cottage. Its so quaint and just how I had hoped it would be. The log fire is essential for a cosy time there and really adds to the ambiance of the place. Great, clean and tidy facilities with little quirky bits that make the cottage so lovely. The staff and everyone helped and were so friendly. A definate place to visit and the estate is fabulous to wake up to the roaming deer is just awsome! Without a doubt I'd visit again and only an hours drive from home yet seems a million miles away from society. The Ram at Disley does lovely food and good service. EXCELLENT. Thank you to all the staff yet again. We have visited so many times now the children think the cottage is ours! As ever, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and wonderfully helpful accommodating staff.
