| | | | Visitors' Book - Darnbrook CottageMalham Moor nr Settle Yorkshire | From: | The Reids | | Message: | Darnbrook Cottage offers a real retreat and is an anitdote to the pace of modern life - no TV, no blackberry ( but a landline telephone if needed) no distractions from pure relaxation!. It is ideally situated for walking and exploring The Dales yet only a short drive from Settle and exploring surrounding areas - including not only the NT properties of Yorkshire but we took in Sizegh Castle in South Cumbria too. It is warm and cosy - the open fire a joy after a good walk around Malham Tarn. Enjoyed a lovely three night break - not long enough before having to returning to the grindstone. Must return for a week next time! Thanks Sue for perparing the cottage for our stay and providing the weclome tray which was greatly appreciated after the drive from Cheshire. The Reids |
From: | The Carter Family, Clayton, West Yorkshire | | Message: | A delightfully warm and cosy cottage, gorgeous landscape and perfect setting for a few days escape from the horrors of West Yorkshire. The somewhat gruesome weather towards the end of the week made it feel all the more special inside A much earned rest for my family, but t’was not long enough! |
From: | Paul, Gundrum, Sammy, Holly and Fizzi - North Yorkshire | | Message: | What a treat – first time we saw this cottage was when it was being renovated and then we thought it would be a super, cosy place to stay in – and so it is. Some great walks and lots of playing of games with the kids. Now we are all recharged again. Thanks, we had a fun time, we felt most welcome and the tea and biscuits was most appreciated. |
