Rose Castle Cottage is a delightful 19th-century Grade II listed cottage, situated high above Tarn Hows, the iconic Lake District spot. There's fantastic walking from the doorstep - you'll hardly need to get in your car! This is an ideal base at the heart of the Lakes for walking, cycling, fishing or just soaking up the tranquillity of the area. You're never far from a teashop or pub too.

Ground Floor: kitchen, sitting/dining room with wood-burning stove shower room with lavatory. First Floor: two bedrooms (1 double with 5' bed and 1 twin).

Facilities

Visitor Notes:
electricity is from batteries charged by a generator. Power point for mobile charger only, there are no other power points available. The wood-burning stove is the only form of heating and hot water. Access to the cottage is down a narrow and sometimes uneven track. There is parking for 2 cars behind the gate to the property.
