A wonderful place for a family holiday. We had previously stayed at Longstone - which was wonderful & very remote. Here we were closer to amenities - mains water & electricity & a bus stop outside - but we lost none of the beauty of West Wight; sea cliffs & the coastal path behind and lovely chalk farmland in front. Staying at late Easter we heard the cuckoo & saw the swallows return. if you are of a nervous disposition you may well prefer accessing the excellent beach further east. The crumbling cliffs have had a major effect on the path!
