This spacious, detached Edwardian cottage, at the head of the Longstone Valley at Mottistone, is a perfect 'away from it all' holiday retreat. It has far-reaching views and a large peaceful garden and is an ideal base for walking holidays.

Ground Floor: Large kitchen, sitting room with multi-fuel stove, dining room with calor gas fire, bathroom and separate lavatory. First Floor: three large bedrooms (1 double and 2 twins).

Facilities
Telephone, cot, high chair.

Visitor Notes:
Calor gas for hot water, cooking and heating in bathroom and dining room. Please note - there is no mains electricity at this cottage so it does not have a television, radio or microwave. Electric lighting is provided by solar energy. The only form of heating is the multi-fuel stove in the sitting room and the gas fire in the dining room. Access to this isolated cottage is via a winding trackway with locked gates, across a common on which cows graze.

Access to the cottage is down a public track/road that, in severe winter conditions, can be difficult to negotiate. In periods of very bad weather we may not be able to prepare the cottage for your stay. In these circumstances it is very unlikely that you would be able to access the cottage safely. If this is the case we will contact you in advance and discuss options with you.
