One of a row of single storey former coastguard cottages standing high on The Needles Headland. Whilst their exteriors are not very photogenic, they enjoy spectacular views and stand in an area of 370 acres of open downland owned by The National Trust.
Ground Floor: kitchen/dining room, sitting room with open fire, two bedrooms (1 double with 5' bed and 1 twin) and bathroom with shower over bath.
Facilities
Television, cot, highchair, freezer, shared tumble dryer, open fire.
Visitor Notes: night storage heating included. There is a shared grassed area.
Access to the cottage is down a public track/road that, in severe winter conditions, can be difficult to negotiate. In periods of very bad weather we may not be able to prepare the cottage for your stay. In these circumstances it is very unlikely that you would be able to access the cottage safely. If this is the case we will contact you in advance and discuss options with you.
