| | | | Visitors' Book - Rose CottageChurch Lane Mottistone Isle of Wight | From: | Veronica White | | Message: | Just returned from our seventh stay in Rose Cottage. The Cottage has been newly decorated, inside and out, since we last went in 2006. Added to this, a newly rearranged kitchen and new appliances. In the 'parlour', as we call it, new carpet and curtains, and upstairs a new bath and loo. When we came first in 2000, it was spartan in comparison. Whether spartan or with enhanced modernity, we would still come to Rose Cottage. Its ambience, position and charm make it a haven of peace and tranquillity. Three cheers for The National Trust. We really appreciate you. |
From: | Taylor Family | | Message: | Beautiful cottage, a lovely base to visit an equally beautiful island. We found the cottage had everything we needed. Weather was great too, although I know NT don't have a lot of say in that. Good to read in the on-line and paper visitors books how many people have made repeat visits to this property. Our first visit and I doubt our last... |
From: | Veronica White | | Message: | This is our fourth visiit and holiday in 'Rose Cottage' - we find it a delightful house, beautifully cared for by Mrs Burgess, the housekeeper. We spend long, happy hours sitting in the garden. We are now looking forward to booking our fifth stay in 2005. Thank you NT for such a gem. |
