Garden cottage is a 19th century detached cottage situated next to the rose garden in the heart of Polesden Lacey Estate. The property has privileged views that look onto the end of the formal gardens and across open fields. It is within a two minute walk from the house and in an exceptional setting on the North Downs. This is an ideal place for walkers being surrounded by National Trust land.
Ground Floor: entrance porch, sitting room with open fire, kitchen/dining room, two bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin en suite with shower over bath) and separate lavatory.
First Floor: one bedroom (double with 5' bed) and large bathroom with roll top bath and handset mixer/shower taps.
Facilities
Telephone, microwave, television, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, cot, high chair, freezer.
Visitor Notes: LPG gas heating included. Private gardens surrounding the cottage with two small patio areas. There is parking for two cars next to the cottage.
Access to the cottage is down a public track/road that, in severe winter conditions, can be difficult to negotiate. In periods of very bad weather we may not be able to prepare the cottage for your stay. In these circumstances it is very unlikely that you would be able to access the cottage safely. If this is the case we will contact you in advance and discuss options with you.
