The cottage was warm and welcoming and Stella looks after it with a lot of care and attention. The cottage is very remote so is perfect for that quiet getaway and 'quiet' being the key word, the only thing that breaks the silence is the sound of birdsong. I feel very relaxed and rejuvinated after my stay here and am looking forward to my next NT holiday. Would definately recommend Woodlands. |
From: | Mark and Sarah | | Message: | We stayed here in over Christmas. We found the accommodation fantastically clean, the log fire was great and the facilities good. The position is wonderful. You have a great sense of 'arriving' having travelled down the long track from the road to the house. The walks are great, with the coffee shop at Nymans a good reference point. There is a large pond near by with lots of ducks to feed & lots of bunnies and hooting owls at night. One point to note, particularly if you have children who do not like dogs - this is a popular area for local dog walkers and dogs off the leash can easily access the cottage garden due to the type of fences. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend Woodlands Cottage for a break away. |
