We thought that this cottage had it all, it was wonderfully decorated, was cosy and welcoming, with views that were truly amazing. The tea room next door was a good send, our first night we had a take away from them - wonderful and friendly. The tea garden was busy, but not too noisy that you could not enjoy the cottage and gardens. The walks to the coast were fantastic and the fossil finding meant that our two boys were entertained for hours! It is so good I am just about to book it up again!

Unlike previous entries we found cottage decoration and equipment more than acceptable on our stay August 2007. Perhaps it has been improved since the previous entries were made. Position is great if you like walking. Access to coastal and inland paths right on doorstep. If you intend being around the cottage during the day you may find the noise from the Tea garden in peak season a little intrusive but otherwise a very peaceful location. Food at Tea garden is super and farm sells organic meat and eggs.

A cosy cottage right on the coast path so with great access to walking. Not the best equipped or decorated cottage we have been to, but as with all NT cottages well maintained and welcoming.
