| Message: | We had the most wonderful summer week at Shedbush Farm. Superb accommodation in the farmouse itself, with beautiful rural views all around. Footpaths straight from the gate up to Golden Cap and beyond to the Anchor Inn at Seatown or even the NT cafe at Eype. And an easy walk across fields to the village shop and farm stand. The fossil beaches of Lyme Regis and Charmouth are close, and Dorchester and Axminster are within easy reach. The road to the farm is good (but steep) and it's a truly quiet, secluded location in the valley with mainly sheep, cows and birds for company. The garden gets lots of sun in the morning and evening and so is delightful to sit in. Lovely wildflowers all around and a mall orchard across the track. Certainly the best of the NT cottages we've seen so far and we look forward to a return visit very soon. |
