Foage Farm is one of the old working farms in this fascinating landscape, in a secluded valley just inland from Zennor village, sheltered between the high moors of Zennor Hill and Trewey Common on either side. At the end of a mile-long track, Honors House is a cottage adjoining the main farmhouse. It is named after Honor Stevens, the wife of James Stevens who worked this farm until 1897, and wrote about his life in fascinating and vivid detail in a journal later published as 'A Cornish Farmers Diary'. The cottage has an inglenook fireplace with multi-fuel store, a walled front garden and a terrace for enjoying those morning coffees. There are many beautiful walks to be had from right on your doorstep: up to the rocky carns and inland across the moors past mysterious prehistoric sites, or down to the glorious sweep of the coast.
