Just up the hill from the Coastguard Cottages, in a wonderfully secluded position in the heart of the Peppercombe valley, Combe is a very pretty cottage. Full of charm, many of the old cottages original features have been preserved including a steep, winding staircase, slate flooring, and a baker's oven in the large fireplace. Surrounded by woodland, and with a small sloping front garden, Combe Cottage makes a perfect peaceful retreat for birdwatchers, walkers and lovers of the tranquil North Devon countryside, yet the delights of Clovelly, Bideford and Appledore are all within easy reach.
Ground Floor: slate-floored sitting room with solid fuel stove in fireplace with baker's oven, open-plan kitchen/dining room with utility area on one side.
First Floor: three bedrooms (1 double with 5' bed, 2 singles), bathroom.

Visitor Notes: Night storage heating included. Parking for one vehicle is available adjacent to the Coastguard Cottages 90 metres away. Access to the cottage is via a steep and uneven path, and there is a trolley provided for luggage. The drive to the cottage is via a locked gate and a rough track which demands care.
For any 2 night starting on a Friday, or 3 night starting on a Thursday, guests can benefit from a late departure time on the Sunday of 6pm, at no extra charge.
