Strode House is within the 17th-century stable block which stands adjacent to Barrington Court House. Refurbished to a very high standard, the red brick of Strode House stands in stark contrast to the mellow Ham Hill stone of the 16th-century Barrington Court, which you can view from the windows, together with the landscaped areas around the moats and horse-chestnut avenues. Guests may walk through the formal gardens and there are plenty of lawn areas for playing, bike-riding, picnics etc. The lovely Ham stone village of Barrington is 5 minutes walks and has a local pub.
