Odcombe Lodge is in a delightful setting on the edge of the Montacute estate with walks across the parkland to the house and garden. We found the lodge very comfortable, warm and cosy in October and it has its own garden and plenty of parking space. As well as Montacute House to explore Tintinhull and Lytes Cary Manor are nearby and Stourhead is not far.Thanks to the N.T. for a lovely short break.

We stayed here for October half term so luckily caught Montacute House before it closed for the winter. A stunningly beautiful and interesting property, we also really enjoyed our walks across the park to the cafe! The children enjoyed tramping through the park land, collecting sweet chestnuts. Otherwise lots to do in the area - Sherbourne, Barrington Court and the not to be missed Lytes Carey. The visit to the Fleet Air Arm was also a great success. With such a comfortable and tastefully decorated cottage, we were unwilling to leave it and our cosy fire in the evening. Thank you NT!
