| | | | Visitors' Book - Gwendra WarthaGwendra Veryan Truro Cornwall | From: | Tina Cook | | Message: | One of our favourite National Trust cottages and the most perfect location for a seaside holiday. The cottage is comfortable, spacious and very well furnished with absolutely stunning views from all the first floor windows. And the location is just spectacular - miles of fantastic coastal walks, a long sandy beach and easy driving distance from many of Cornwall's best attractions - including Heligan, the Eden Project, the Tate at St Ives and all the lovely National Trust gardens in Cornwall. The local village (with shop and pub) is walking distance and the Nare Hotel on Carne Beach has an extensive evening menu if you just don't feel like cooking! This cottage is very highly recommended. |
From: | Cathryn and Edward Thompson | | Message: | Thanks for a fantastic week at this lovely house. The house is very cosy and the views towards the sea are amazing. We walked over 35 miles of the surrounding costal paths and saw some fantastic sights including seals and falcons. A place we will visit again. |
From: | Rick and Carol | | Message: | This was our first trip to Cornwall, but we will be back. Veryan is a true gem and we fell in love at first sight. We heartedly recommend The National Trust cottages to everyone when we speak of our trips to the U. K.! |
