Just spent a long weekend in this apartment - Nov 2011. The reviews and write up don't do it justice. We had a wonderful weekend - really peaceful even though there was a food festival on. The apartment was spotless and you couldn't wish for anything else. Everything you could possibly need was provided - extra heater, hairdrier, even cake tins if you felt the need to bake.
This was our first NT 'cottage' but won't be our last.

Our stay here was perfect! To have the privilege of staying in the actual house was wonderful. The hall had just been decorated with its famous garland with a massive log fire burning, timeless. Can't wait to come back.

We stayed here over a beautiful sunny February weekend. It was breathtakingly gorgeous and we loved walking round the grounds admiring the early daffodils and wild crocus. It was warm, cosy, atmospheric and incredibly romantic and we can't wait to go back. Very special indeed.
