Hidden amongst the trees, away from the main house, the Bothy started life as the potting shed-cum-mess room for Bosloe's gardeners. Today it is a beautifully situated, romantic little hideaway with a view down through a grassy glade to the Helford River beyond. Built in about 1890 of local stone and slate, by the same architect who designed the main house, it is a fine example of how even the humblest of estate buildings could embellish their surroundings.
Ground Floor: open-plan kitchen/dining/sitting room, twin bedroom, bathroom with shower over bath.
