Built in 1876, this attractive cottage with its shutters and large windows was once the village school and later the reading room. Like Quay Cottage (011025) and Beach Cottage (011104) next door, it has uninterrupted views of the Helford River and the unspoilt southern bank. It too stands just above the beach, on Durgans historic quay from which tin used to be shipped and where fish used to be landed before being carried to Falmouth by donkeys.
Ground Floor: hall, kitchen, sitting/dining room with open fire, two bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin), double cubicle shower room with under floor heating and lavatory.

Television, washing machine, tumble dryer, cot, high chair, freezer.
Visitor Notes: Parking is limited to one vehicle. Night storage heating and convector heating included.
For any 2 night starting on a Friday, or 3 night starting on a Thursday, guests can benefit from a late departure time on the Sunday of 6pm, at no extra charge.
