| | | | Visitors' Book - The Water TowerTrelissick Feock Truro Cornwall | From: | Jennie | | Message: | I stayed here at the end of February 2009. A wonderful place, truly a fairytale castle. Do not be put off by the numerous stairs and having to go outside and back into the building for the bathroom - it will keep you fit and I on a couple of my evening trips to the loo I spotted bats flying near the top of the tower.
Top tips - stand in the middle of the lounge, there is a strange echo due to the shape of the ceiling and make sure to look out of the windows in the kitchen everytime you are up there, such wonderful views. |
From: | Tina Cook | | Message: | What an amazing place to stay! The stairs seem to go on for ever and ever, and you soon learn to plan carefully to reduce needless trips to the kitchen! The tower is actually very cosy and surprisingly spacious, and a stay here is a really wonderful (and unforgettable) experience. The gardens at Trelissick are also very lovely, with gentle walks and splendid views. This is a unique holiday cottage in an absolutely spectacular location. |
From: | Linda & Stuart Nicholls | | Message: | A very unique place to stay. Comfortable and quiet in spite of being so close to Trelissick's car park. It's 51 stairs to the kitchen (but the views are worth it) or you can always eat out1 |
