Stayed there for the third time in late November 2009. As warm and comfortable as usual. Well equipped and ideal as a base. Take wellington boots though as the cottage drive is potholed and muddy.

This was our first NT cottage experience and it did not disappoint anyone. We have already drawn up a wish list of cottages/houses for future holidays and short breaks. This cottage was charming but still had enough 'mod cons' to make the stay wonderful. Little touches such as the flowers, leaflets for the many local attractions and the helpful and funny comments in the visitors books made it all the more special

10/04/09-17/04/09: a picturesque, cosy,welcoming cottage, well-equipped and spotless. A great base to explore near and further afield or simply to relax. Grown ups and children loved it. Would definitely recommend it.
