| | | | Visitors' Book - Trinity CottageDrewsteignton Devon | From: | Paul Schofield | | Message: | I stayed here with my girlfriend in July 2008, what can be said to describe this cottage???? total bliss. We loved every part of staying here from the local walks, fingle bridge cream teas, the local national trust sites, the horses going past the cottage window every morning, the pleasant people in the Post Office, the tranquility, easy parking, not far from Exeter, the cottage is excellent. The only drawback in my eyes was the small country lanes that you had to drive down but that is to be expected when you holiday in such a setting. I would say this cottage is a must visit. |
From: | M Murley | | Message: | Fantastic, stayed there with my hound, walked miles on the Moor and enjoyed the pub across the road. Totally chilled out! |
From: | Pete & Jacqui | | Message: | Stayed in early Jun 05 for a week. Comfortable thatch cottage in nice village, bit like going back in time. Unusual village square in that it's off the road and is more like a car park, with children playing in the middle. Classic village pub, Drewes Arms, across road with very good food reasonably priced and good beer. Church facing onto the square. Typical local store, with nice cake, with Post Office at edge of square. A lot of well marked good walks in the steep wooded valleys round about. Including one down to another pub, Fingle Arms, next to the River Teign. Nice pub, food more of a populous type than the Drewes Arms. Very narrow lanes which seem to get wider as the week goes on. We had great weather for 5 days. |
