Set within the Castle grounds, this traditional stone cottage is one of a semi-detached pair standing close to the old farm buildings, a few hundred metres from the Castle. This delightful cottage forms an excellent base from which to explore the estate, and other National Trust properties in the area - Powis Castle and Errdig - and a touring base for visits to nearby Llangollen, Oswesty and Welshpool, with spectacular moorland to the north and the beautiful Ceirog Valley starting at Chirk.

First Floor: two bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin, both with antique brass/iron beds), bathroom with shower over bath.

Visitor Notes: Oil central heating included. Parking in the main visitors car park nearby - unloading and loading only is permitted at the cottage. Enclosed front and private rear garden with patio area. Excellent walking in all directions from the doorstep including the Offa's Dyke Walk.
