This appealing cottage is part of a working farm on the Ysbyty Estate. Whilst off the beaten track Gwernouau Cottage is only two miles away from the pretty village of Ysbyty Ifan and eight miles away from Betws-y-Coed in the Snowdonia National Park. Built in the 18th-century, the cottage was renovated by the Penrhyn Estate in the late 19th-century and has many original beams and other features still in place.

Downstairs
Kitchen, hall, large sitting/dining room with multi-fuel stove in an ingle-nook fireplace, bathroom with mixer tap shower attachment over bath.

Upstairs
Three bedrooms (1 double, 1 single, 1 twin all with antique brass/iron beds).

Facilities
Television, radio, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, cot, highchair.

Visitor Notes
Night storage heating included. There is an open garden at the front, whilst sheep do not cross the garden of the property there is a sheep pen at the rear which is in use. The track to the cottage is narrow and uneven in places with access through several farm gates which will need to be re-closed. As the track is unlit it is advisable to bring a torch if arriving after dark. In wet weather conditions this track can become muddy in places and you may wish to bring suitable footwear for use when opening and closing the gates. Ample parking adjacent to cottage, open garden at front. Excellent area for bird watching and fishing.
