This beautiful Edwardian cottage is positioned in the heart of the magnificent gardens surrounding Powis Castle. Built in 1908, The Bothy's Edwardian half timbered style, was chosen to reflect the rustic cottage garden theme that was popular in Edwardian times. It offers fantastic views over the garden from the majority of its rooms, all of which have traditional features.
Ground Floor: kitchen/dining room, sitting room with wood-burning stove, shower room and separate lavatory.
First Floor: four bedrooms (1 family room with 5' double bed and en-suite shower room with lavatory, with walk-through to adjoining single bedroom, plus two twin bedrooms, all with antique brass/iron beds) and bathroom with traditional roll-top bath.

Visitor Notes: Gas central heating included. The staircase in this cottage is steep. There is no private garden or designated children's play area but there is a small patio area within the main gardens where you can sit and enjoy glorious views. Guests have access into the Castle garden during their stay.
