When we booked we weren't sure about the remote aspect of the place. Our concern was being cut off from too many places to visit. Were we pleasantly surprised! During our three day stay there was so much to do we didn't even see all we wanted at Stackpole and never even made it up to the center for the added bonus of enjoying a soak in the hottub and sauna .... Oh well ...next time and we do plan to return for a second longer stay. This is up there on my list of one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I've ever been. We couldn't get enough of wandering the cliffs, strolling the stunning beaches and exploring the rest of this beautiful property.
The National Trust does a truly amazing job in providing wonderful accommodation to enjoy this spectacular coastal park. Byre 3 was beautifully furnished and outfitted even with a lovely view through a pasture to the cliffs and sea.... Although it was just my partner and I, we wish our friends we were staying with in London would have been able to join us given all the room. Who knew? It would be especially great for a family. The UK has quite a treasure with The National Trust....... |

The cottage is amazing! - Just a short walk to the boathouse (great cream teas and icecream!) and incredible scenery. Barafundle a mere 10 minute walk away. Kids had great time crabbing off quay and playing on the sandy beach. We will be back really soon!!! |

Fantastic walking, scenery and the tearoom which is 2 minutes walk away is fab. Barafundle beach is great for kids and stunning to look at. Go, you won't regret it... |
