Haverfordwest Haverfordwest is the County town of Pembrokeshire and makes an ideal base for touring. The River Cleddau winds through the centre and is spanned by two fine bridges, whilst overlooking the town are the impressive ruins of a 12th-century Norman castle. High Street and Market Street have a good range of shops, as well as some excellent pubs and cafes. Both our cottages are ideally situated for exploring the wonderful coast and countryside of west Wales. The lovely beaches at Broadhaven and Little Haven are within 15 minutes, Tenby and the Tudor Merchant's House or the cathedral city of St David's are a 30 minute drive away.
