| Message: | Pontbrenmydyr is a lovely little cottage and the recent restoration work has clearly been completed to a very high standard. The sitting room is a little dark, but it is also very cosy, and the bedroom and bathroom are both exceptionally nice rooms. There are fantastic walks straight from the doorstep, and we particularly liked our visit to Llanerchaeron House and gardens. The only slight down-side, is the proximity of the cottage to the main road - the traffic noise is fairly constant throughout the day, but it is not really too intrusive and it is very conveniently located for visiting the local area. There is a pleasant stroll along a disused railway line to Aberaeron (2 miles) where dolphins can sometimes be spotted in Cardigan Bay - unfortunately we didn't see any during our visit. However we did see several Red Kites and lots of other wildlife. |
